Approx. Length Guide:
** Visual guide used for reference only, exact position will depend on your own chest & neck size. Allow 1-2mm variance due to clasping.
1. 45cm ( 18 inch ) - This option will be quite fitting and will sit right at base of neck, or sometimes referred to as a choker.
2. 50cm ( 20 inch ) - The common size worn as it should rest approx. at the collarbone. Worn inside or outside shirt and is good balance not short not long.
3. 55cm ( 22 inch ) - This length should rest approx. in the middle of the chest, is best option if wearing with pendants.
4. 60cm ( 24 inch ) - Now getting into longer lengths, this one should sit approx. at base of chest. It's used mainly with pendants that are larger or for thicker chains when layering with other shorter chains.
5. 70-75cm ( 28-30 inch ) - Is pretty lengthy and will sit just under chest and top of stomach. This size is more of statement piece or large pendants.
Dimension: (Width)
1-3mm - Opt for thinner chains for a more discreet appearance
3-6mm - Average and standard width chains for men will give different appearance based on the type of chain. For a classy sleek look, these sizes are perfect.
7-10mm - Larger width chains are great for pendants or making a statement, so if you want to show off the bling, these sizes are perfect. They are heavier as well, so not for everyday wear and should be worn on the outside of your shirts.

Depending on your individual body proportions, the placement and positioning of the chains will vary significantly.
To see how the chain will look on you, cut a piece of string to the desired length.
Then use these to offer guidance on the final resting position based on your unique body type.
**Please execute this task with utmost care, as it has the potential to pose a choking hazard**
Personal example:
My ideal sizes are 50cm & 55cm - perfect for my proportions (41cm neck & 104cm chest).
The 50cm rests at the collarbone base, while the 55cm falls between collarbone base and chest top. The 60cm size hits right at the center of my chest.
Every chain varies according to the clasp, whether it's the short or long lobster clasp, or the size of the O ring.
I hope this guide assists in choosing the right size, identifying how you plan to wear it, and expressing your unique style.
